Angela Evelyn Bassett is an American actress from America. She has been recognized by the media and for her television work since the 1980s. Her accolades comprise the two Golden Globe Awards, sixteen NAACP Image Awards as well as nominations for Academy Awards and Primetime Emmy Awards. Bassett grew up at Winston-Salem North Carolina, raised by an aunt and Uncle in New York New York. Bassett relocated with her older sister St. Petersburg Florida at age five in order in order to be closer to their mother as she was divorced from their father. Bassett when she was in high school, saw John Steinbeck's production Of Mice and Men with James Earl Jones and she was inspired to be an actor. Yale University New Haven Connecticut, where she received her bachelor's degree in African American and master's degrees (1983). Courtney B. Vance was also an actor at Yale. They married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. Degree in African-American Studies in 1980, Master in Fine Arts degree from the Yale School of Drama School: Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (seventh grade) Azalea Middle School (eighth and ninth grade) Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett has been cast in one the leading roles of Ramonda for the action movie i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
