Ward was born in MonroeLouisiana on April 15,1976. She was a student at an exclusive Christian primary school, called Monroe Christian School. In her secondary educationWard went to Ouachita Parish High School, but she moved in River Oaks High School on the last day of her junior year; thereshe was a member of the dance and drill teams. She attended Northeast Louisiana University briefly after her graduation. Ward, then 13, began modeling after she left school. After graduation, she relocated in New York to pursue this profession. After a few years, she decided to try her hand at acting. The first time she was cast without credit in the late 1970s for the soap opera All My Children. Later, she was cast in NBC's short-lived prime-time teen drama Malibu Shores. Ward landed her first role as a character in Sunset Beach daytime soap opera, where she played the romantically virginal Meg Cummings. In 1999, her movie career started by playing Brittany Foster (the psychotic Brittany Foster) in the romantic thriller The In Crowd. The film failed to make a profit in theatres, but it did find some successes on home and cable. Ward then played an important supporting role in Shallow Hal, a hit film. Other credits for her acting include several direct-to DVD films as well as appearances in television programs, like Friends. In the ABC Family Drama series Make it or break It's primary actors for the first two years, Chloe Kmet played the mother of young gymnast in 2009. In her private life she was married to David C. Robinson. The couple had a boy named Cameron.
